This policy explains what SNF Desk LLC ("Lateral Desk", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information about our users

• Account details: name, work email, firm, role, and how you sign in (a single sign-on provider such as Google, or a passphrase; we store passphrases only as salted hashes).
• Billing: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive your plan, payment status and billing contact, never your full card number.
• Usage and security logs: sign-ins, IP address, browser, searches and records viewed, exports and admin changes. We keep these to secure the service, enforce plan limits and investigate misuse.
• Your content: roles, candidates, notes, pipeline records and tasks your team adds.

2. Information in the database

Lateral Desk organizes information that is publicly available about the California legal profession, such as attorney license status, admission date, public business address and phone, self-reported practice areas, public discipline history, court appearances in published opinions, and public registries of legal-services offices. We don't collect personal email addresses hidden by the source. If you appear in the data and want a correction or removal, email nissim@abramsonlabor.com; we'll review and respond.

3. How we use information

To provide and secure the service, process payments, provide support, and improve the product. We don't sell customer data, we don't send messages to candidates, and we don't use your content to train AI models.

4. Sharing

Only with service providers that help us run Lateral Desk (hosting, payments, sign-in) under contracts that limit their use of the data; when the law requires it; to protect rights and safety; or in a merger or sale of the business with notice to you. Inside your organization, your admin can see your account, activity and the content you add.

5. Retention

Account data and content are kept while your account is active and deleted after it closes, except where we must keep records longer (for example billing records or security logs).

6. Security

Encryption in transit, hashed passphrases, per-firm data separation, role-based access and audit logs. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at nissim@abramsonlabor.com if you find a problem.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights; we honor them and won't treat you differently for using them. Contact nissim@abramsonlabor.com.

8. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect against forgery. No advertising cookies.

9. Children

Lateral Desk is a business service and isn't for anyone under 18.
